After our video revealing the T.50 hypercar, we discovered that we had loads of incredibly insightful footage left over, with Gordon Murray and Mike discussing more of the engineering firsts that are being brought to the car industry via this stunning car. Gordon also has some very interesting things to say about the other hypercars that the T.50 will be up against. So here is 20 minutes of engineering madness for the geekiest of car people out there!

  • Did I miss something by being distracted or was I right in my initial impression that the title of this video was a bad and uninteresting question and then the video actually confirmed it? Is this what happened: Question- how do you make a fan car road legal. Answer- fans aren’t illegal. Please correct me if I’m wrong and missed something. Why would anyone think a road car having a fan is illegal? That’s like asking how do you make a coffee table living room legal? Answer- coffee tables aren’t illegal 🤷🏻‍♂️ I mean we all understand that road laws aren’t about competition right? someone please tell me what I missed while playing on my phone or something because this seems ridiculous. I must have missed something.

Its an engineers car, it doesn't really need marketing to sell. I think Gordon should try out a mid-priced sports car next or even a Hot Hatchback.

The man is not only a genius for what he achieves, but the purity of the thinking that leads him to make the choices he does. Please...just one more after this, and make it an EV. Let the T.50 be his final word as to the ultimate analogue ICE drivers car. Now take us to an EV future that shows passion and volts can be real...

And I can repeat what Gordon Murray has to say, regarding: the boundary layer, the braham car being a blunt instrument, the peto-tube, about Nikki Lauda looking at the gauge entering every corner. But I love it. One new thing I did learn in this video, is about the Rev counter having a stepper motor.
